The Xoom, successor to the popular Motorola Xoom 2 is a thin 10.1 inch touchscreen tablet that features a scratch and splash resistant coating with an aluminium housing. The Xoom 2 weighs approx 600 grams and is just a whisker under 9 millimetres thin. Motorola have endowed the Xoom 2 with a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor and Android 3.2. The 10.1 inch widescreen is HD capable and gives bright and vivid colours.
Improvements over the Xoom include MotoCast, a free app from Motorola which allows you to access music, videos and photos from your home PC direct to your Xoom 2. The Xoom 20 has a high capacity battery that provides hours of power.
With MotoCast you can throw away your cables and save your storage space for your apps. Using MotoCast you can access your pc remotely and stream your music, pics, doc and movies to your Xoom 2
