How to configure a Yahoo email account on you Nokia N9.
- Go to Accounts.
- Tap on Add Account.
- Select “Other Mail Account”.
- Key in your credentials and tap Manual Setup.
- Select Done.
Yahoo Mail setup
Account Title: The name you wish to give your Yahoo account
Name: Your name as you would like it to appear in the “From” section of your email
User name: The first part of your yahoo email address (if your email address is joebloggs@yahoo.com, you enter joebloggs)
Password: Enter your yahoo mail account password
E-mail address: Your yahoo email address i.e. joebloggs@yahoo.com
Incoming server (IMAP4): imap.n.mail.yahoo.com
Secure authentication : Leave this unchecked
Secure connection: None
Port: 143
Outgoing server (SMTP): smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Secure authentication: Login
User name: : The first part of your yahoo email address (if your email address is joebloggs@yahoo.com, you enter joebloggs)
Password: Enter your yahoo mail account password
Secure connection: SSL
Port: 465
Use connection-specific SMTP servers: leave this unchecked
