Telstra EasyTouch Discovery 3
The Telstra EasyTouch Discovery 3, the T3, is made by ZTE and is the third generation of theEasyTouch range following the original Easytouch Discovery and the EasyTouch Discovery 2 or T2.
This has been described as a seniors mobile phone as the EasyTouch Discovery 3 has big buttons and large on screen display combined with the flip style of the previous models. This enables a large 2.4 inch screen and a large keyboard when the mobile phone is open and in use but when closed is compact and easy to store.
The Easy Touch Discovery 3 weighs around 105 grams and measures 99.6mm x 51.4mm x 16.27mm. Telstra states that this handset is hearing aid compatible.
The EasyTouch Discovery 3 is a good basic mobile phone as the menus are easy to read and use. The menus have been simplified and are now colour coded with a help file that explains how to perform basic functions. Also as you type in numbers the handset will read them back to you so you can hear what you have just typed in.
This mobile has been awarded Telstra’s blue tick for coverage meaning it is a better performing handset coverage wise and is recommended for use in for both regional and rural hand held coverage.
There is a bonus DVD included with this mobile phone that is a ‘how to guide’ on using this mobile which to be a help for some EasyTouch Discovery 3 owners.
Other features of the T3 are a three mega-pixel camera, integrated MP3 Player, hands-free speaker phone and an expandable memory card slot that will accept micro SD memory cards up to 32GB in size.
