The Samsung Galaxy S III, one of the most anticipated mobile phones to launch this year, is now available on Telstra’s mobile network.

Samsung has used the Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich operating system with the Samsung Galaxy S III. The device has a 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED display that provides a brilliant viewing experience.

The new Samsung Galaxy S III utilizes a made for human’s design and the mobile phone’s software has some very human touches. The Galaxy S III knows when you are reading its screen and keeps it lit up, when you look away the screen will blank out to save the battery.

The device will also listen and respond to voice commands, allowing to play music, ask the device a question. You can also turn the volume up or down, add calendar appointments, or launch the camera to take photos with voice commands.

Telstra’s Galaxy SIII Mobile Plans

Telstra’s consumer customers can purchase the Samsung Galaxy S III on the $79 Freedom Connect Plan with a $3 handset repayment per month (after using an included MRO Bonus). This $79 Freedom Connect plan comes with $800 worth of included calls and MMS, unlimited SMS and 2GB of data each month all to standard Australian numbers however international calls and sms messages are not included in this allowance. The minimum cost over 24 months is $1,968.

Business customers can purchase the Samsung GALAXY S III for $17 per month (after using their MRO bonus) on the $59 Business Mobile Maximiser 24 month plan. This plan includes unlimited standard national SMS, 1.5GB of data to use in Australia each month and free national voice calls to eligible mobiles on the same account in Australia.

Telstra business customers will also receive a $100 Bonus Mobile Credit, until 2 July 2012 Telstra when they take up this plan.
