Telstra has confirmed that the telco will offer both the iPad mini and the fourth generation iPad. These new iPads will be sold with a range data plans so Telstra customers will be able to utilise Telstra’s 4G LTE, HSPA+ and DC-HSDPA Next G network.The iPad Mini is a 7.9-inch shrunken down version of Apple’s famous iPad. The iPad mini is encased in anodised aluminium and is manufactured with attention to design. The iPad mini is a totally new design it is 23% thinner and 53% lighter than the third generation iPad. The iPad mini is comfortable in one hand, is fully compatible with all iPad apps and the iPad mini format also offers better screen display of web pages and videos. The mini’s 7.9 inch diagonal screen compared the 9.7-inches of the full-sized iPad both screens have the same pixel count. This means that app developers will not need to rewrite their code for the new smaller format of the iPad mini.The iPad Mini has a stunning 7.9-inch display, Apple-designed dual-core A5 chip, ultrafast 4G LTE connectivity and 10-hours of battery life.
The 4th generation iPad will offer 4G LTE compatibility with a 4G networks around the world, including Australia’s. The fourth generation iPad has a 9.7-inch Retina display, Apple-designed A6X chip and a new FaceTime HD camera. Both iPad mini and fourth generation iPad come with iOS 6
