Bad Piggies
Angry Birds has quickly become one of the most popular casual games on the mobile platforms. The concept is as simple as it is addicting: pigs have stolen their eggs so now the birds have to get them back by launching themselves at the pigs. The game has had several spin-offs, all following the same premise with different graphics or levels, but one new spin-off is completely different and refreshing.
Bad Piggies follows the same pigs from the original game, but this time it is the pigs who have to solve puzzles. Using a variety of contraptions including fans, soda bottles, umbrellas, and wheels, you have to build a vehicle to safely get a pig to his destination. Much like Angry Birds, Bad Piggies has a star system for ranking how well you did on a particular level, but instead of basing it off of points for destroying things, you can earn stars for completing a level without crashing, in a certain time limit, or without using certain materials in your vehicle. Even better, you do not have to earn all three stars in one attempt. For example, you can complete the time challenge on your first try for one star, and then remove some items from your car to get the second star on your next attempt.
Overall, Bad Piggies is a very fun take on the Angry Birds universe, and a very unique idea. Have you played Bad Piggies let? Let us know what you think!
