The HTC 8X is HTC’s Windows Phone 8 handset and has a 4.3 inch touch screen and weighs in at 130-grams.The 8X’s unibody design means that the phone’s battery is sealed within the chassis. The 8X comes with a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor and has 1GB RAM. The handset’s Beats Audio and the dedicated built-in amplifier, delivers quality sound. Currently th e8X is the only Windows Phone 8 handset with Beats Audio. The screen as mentioned is a 4.3 inch, 720p HD screen.
The 8X has a rear facing 8 megapixel camera and a front-facing camera that has a 2.1 megapixel sensor for video conferencing, people who love taking self photos with friends will love this. The front facing camera has a wide angle giving twice the picture area. This will let you can capture a larger slice of the action.
The 8X is also 4G capable so you can enjoy blistering fast web browsing and file downloads with lightning-fast 4G.
The HTC 8X uses a micro SIM card and has no memory card slots to expand the device’s 16GB on board memory.
The HTC 8X is available from Vodafone and Telstra. Telstra currently offer the device for an extra $5 per month on their $60 Freedom Connect plan for 24 months.
Vodafone offer the HTC 8X for an extra $5 per month on their $50 plan for 24 months.
