Vodafone’s $30 gives you $200 each month to spend on plan inclusions, such as calls and text messages and you also get 200MB of mobile internet data per month. The total minimum cost of this plan over 24 months is $720. Vodafone states on their website that this promotion ends on 11 June 2013.
On this plan the cost of a standard text message is 30 cents for up to 160 characters and standard voice call rates are 98c per minute plus a 40c flag fall. The cost of a two minute standard national voice call works out to be $2.36. The cost of sending a standard national sms is 30c. If you use more than your 200MB data allowance additional data in Australia is charged at 10cents per MB.
