On September 18th, 2013, Apple released a new and improved operating system for the iPhone: IOS 7. iOS 7 is the seventh version of the iOS mobile operating system designed by Apple Inc, and is the successor to iOS 6. This version is full of features that are designed to improve the user’s experience when using their phone. Buttons no longer have borders, drop-down displays are translucent, icons are completely different.

One of the biggest updates that the Apple IOS 7 offers is the Control Center. This screen allows users to have quick and easy access to their phone’s controls and applications. They can quickly adjust the brightness of the screen, switch to airplane mode, and much more.

The Notification Center is also new and improved. Users can access this and quickly see any notifications they might have missed. A new feature called Today allows users to see any notifications they have missed in the past 24 hours. They can also see what the weather will be like and check if anyone’s birthday is on that day.

The Apple IOS 7 is great at multitasking. It actually learns how you use your device and helps to make it easier for you to do these things. If you normally do things at a certain time each day, this operating system will learn your routine and have applications ready for you when you are likely to use them, such as the newsfeed to your favourite social networking site.

This new operating system offers users a different way to group and store their photos. They can organize their photos by date and by place. This makes it a lot easier for users to find photos that they are looking for. There have also been updates to the way photos are captured, offering more filters and more convenient controls.
