Calling all avid fans of Apple products! On September 12, at 10 am PDT (September 13, 2 am in Australia) made a big announcement at the Steve Jobs Theater, located on their campus at Cupertino. Apple said that there are three new iPhones and a new Apple Watch Series 4 to watch out for in 2018. The iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR will replace the iPhone 8 officially.
To make room for the brand new iPhones, Apple already pulled out the remaining iPhone 8 stocks right after the announcement. In line with this, iPhones 6S, 6S Plus, iPhone SE will no longer be available. So, if you’re keen on buying an iPhone 8, you’ll have to choose between the three new iPhones.
The Price of the new iPhones and Apple Watch Series 4
The iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max are two size differences, but the iPhone XR will serve as the smartphone giant’s “bargain” phone. Prices vary depending on the capacity, and the cost rises with every increase in internal storage.
The price for iPhone XR starts at $749 for the 64GB, $799 for the 128GB and $899 for 256GB.
For the iPhone XS, you can buy with an memory internal capacity of 64GB, 256GB or 512GB.
On the other hand, the iPhone XS Max has the same memory as the iPhone XS, but you will need to pay $100 more.
It seems that Apple is starting to test how much cash people are willing to splurge on phones after hitting the one grand ceiling. But Apple fans need not worry as they can still buy iPhones 7 and 7 Plus and the iPhones 8 and 8 Plus.
Release Dates
Preorders for the new Apple Watch Series 4, as well as the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, started last September 14, and the release date will b on September 21, 2018. As for iPhone XR, pre orders will be available by October 19 while the release date is on October 26.

The iPhone XS has a Super Retina, 5.8-inch OLED screen and has a pixel resolution of 2436 x 1125 per 458 PPI. As for the iPhone XS Max, it has a pixel resolution of 2,688 x 1,242 pixels per 458 PPI density. Both are available in Gold and Silver, Space Grey.
Powered by Apple’s A12 Bionic, both have an A-series processor with six-core CPU dedicated for efficiency and high performance.
New cameras graced the iPhone XS and XS Max – Dual cameras that are 12-megapixel wide. Both have Dual sim card slots and have a water resistance rating of IP68. Compared to iPhone X, Apple claims iPhone XS can last up to 30 more minutes while iPhone XS Max can last for 1.5 hours longer than the previous iPhone model released.
One can expect Face IDs to work faster when it comes to unlocking the iPhone. They have a wider stereo field and a 3D Touch pressure-sensitive screen.

The iPhone XR has 6.1-inch Liquid Retina LCD screen with a pixel resolution of 1792 x 828 per 326 PPI density. Apple installed the Haptic Touch as a replacement for the 3D Touch pressure-sensitive screen which offers the same clever shortcuts.
The iPhone XR offers the same A12 Bionic chip, camera and Face ID system as the iPhone XS and XS Max. As for the battery, it promises to last 90 minutes more.
It has an Aluminum body, a glass back and a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens single camera. It has a water resistance rating of IP67 and is available in six candy colours – Black, Blue, Coral (pink), Product Red, Yellow and White.
Key Specs of the new Apple Watch 4
The Apple Watch Series got a makeover – an overall unique design with many new health features – including an electrocardiogram sensor. While it retained the rectangular shape, Apple made room for a much larger display which is 30% more t6han the previous models.
It has two new size versions (40mm and 44mm) with a speaker installed that is up to 50% louder. It has the same features as the Apple Watch 3 – built-in GPS and water resistance, but now has a battery life of 18 hours.
Equipped with watchOS 5 – the Apple Watch 4 has Apples newest smartwatch OS, a 64-bit processor and a new S4. The back of the Apple Watch 4 is now made from ceramic and crystal meant for better cellular reception. It also has a new gyroscope and accelerometer that helps the watch detect falls. You can choose from the stainless steel or aluminium version and in colours gold, silver, and space grey.
