Oppo recently announced its flagship lineup for this year, 2021, bringing flashy-looking devices and impressive brand-new features to the table. Here is a closer look at the Find X3 Pro, Neo, and Lite, devices that Oppo hopes will hold their own against those from their biggest competitors.
Oppo Find X3 Pro
The Find X3 Pro is the best Oppo device so far. Pre-orders in Australia are set to start from April 1st, and the device will be available from mid-April. Owning a Find X3 Pro will cost you around $1,699, which is $100 more than last year’s Find X2 Pro launch price. The Find X3 Pro is Oppo’s first phone to launch in Australia with wireless charging. The Find X3 Pro also has IP68 water and dust resistance.
We have Oppo Find X3 Pro accessories including charging cables, chargers, car mounts, docks, cases, screen protectors, covers, stands, holders and more. Click here to see our Find X3 Pro accessories.
Oppo Find X3 Pro Design & Display
Compared to the Find X2 Pro, Oppo Find X3 Pro features a refreshed design aesthetic. It is more conservative in its choice of materials and returns to the traditional glass front and back. However, its camera bump has been sculpted from the same sheet of glass as the back panel, giving it a rather unique but neat look.
It has an IP68 dust and water resistance rating and is available in Blue (with a matte finish) and Gloss Black.
The Find X3 Pro’s display is a 120Hz, 6.7-inch Quad HD+ display. It’s 2021, and these are the standard specs you would expect from a 2021 flagship smartphone. However, the Find X3 Pro did turn many heads with its 10-bit color display, which essentially means that the device can display over a billion colors. In comparison, most smartphones have an 8-bit screen, which amounts to about 16.7 million colors.
This 10-bit display adds a lot of color depth to your viewing experience. It also allows Oppo consumers to watch HDR videos on the Find X3 Pro.
Oppo Find X3 Pro Camera
The Oppo Find X3 Pro has a quad-camera setup at the back: 50MP primary lens, 50MP ultra-wide, a 13MP telephoto, and a 3MP microlens. On the front is a single 32MP selfie camera.
The ultrawide and the main camera have the same sensor, which is quite rare in smartphones. However, this gives the Find X3 Pro an edge over other devices when it comes to taking ultrawide shots. Both lenses can also capture 10-bit photos and videos, making the device the only Android smartphone with a 10-bit system. The system gives consumers a wide range of options when it comes to photo editing.
The Find X3 Pro’s telephoto lens has 2x optical zoom, which the software can scale to 5x hybrid zoom. This is a scale down from last year’s find X2 Pro, which had 5x optical zoom and 10x hybrid zoom.
Although all these cameras are flagship quality, it is the 3MP microlens that stole the show. The lens can take microscope grade photos of objects within 1mm- 3mm of the device, something a lot of people will enjoy doing.
Oppo Find X3 Pro Memory and Performance
In Australia, Oppo Find X3 Pro launches with 12GB RAM and non-expandable 256 GB of storage. It is powered by the new Snapdragon 888 chipset, which offers incredible performance and power efficiency that is reliable in any situation.
Oppo Find X3 Pro Battery Life
The smartphone has a 4,500mAh battery, similar to the one in last year’s Find X2 Pro. Combined with the efficient Snapdragon 888 chipset, its battery capacity should last you a good 12 hours under average use.
The device features 65W SuperVOOC fast charging, capable of raising the battery capacity from 0 to 40% in just 10 minutes. When using fast charging, the Find X3 Pro will charge from 0 to 100% in 80 minutes. The Find X3 Pro’s 30W AirVOOC wireless flash charge and reverse wireless charging systems will also charge the battery to full power. Read our Oppo Find X3 Pro review.
Oppo Find X3 Neo
Next up is the Find X2 Neo, which is more of a mid-range device and will cost about $1,1999 when it’s finally available in Australia. Here is everything you need to know about it.

Oppo Find X3 Neo Design and Display
The Find X3 Neo features a 90Hz 6.55” OLED display with a 1080p+ resolution. Despite only having an 8-bit display, the 90Hz screen should make for a smooth scrolling experience. Like with the Pro, the Neo features a glass back but is available in either Silver or Gloss Black. Overall, the design is sleek and looks great to the eye.
The Cameras
The Find X3 Neo has four cameras on the rear; a 50MP primary camera, a 13MP telephoto, a 16MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro camera. Its 50MP sensor promises excellent photo output, while the telephoto lens has a 2x optical zoom. The front camera is a 32MP sensor, just like in the Find X3 Pro.
Find X3 Neo Memory and Performance
The device comes with 12GB RAM and 256 gigs of non-expandable storage. It is powered by last year’s 865 Snapdragon chipsets, which is still one of the most powerful chips in a smartphone.
Find X3 Neo Battery Life
The find X3 Neo has a 4,500mAh battery, which should give you a full day of usage. With 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 flash charging, you can charge it back to 100% in around 35 minutes.
Oppo Find X3 Lite
This is the lowest end phone in the X3 lineup and will cost around $749 in Australia. We have premium quality Oppo Find X3 Lite cases to protect your valuable phone. Our case range includes rugged shock proof cases, slim cases, wallet cases and more. See them here.
Oppo Find X3 Lite Design and Display
The device has a 90Hz 6.4” OLED display with a 1080 x 2400p resolution. It has a plastic back and is available in Blue, Black, and Silver.
The Cameras
Like with the Pro and Neo, the lite has four cameras at the rear, but oddly enough, it has the biggest primary camera on paper (64MP). The ultrawide stands at 8MP, while the telephoto and the macro lens have 2 MP sensors.
The front camera is a 32MP lens.
Memory and Performance
The Find X3 Lite has 8 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM. It is powered by the mid-range Snapdragon 765G chipset, which promises decent performance.
The Find X3 Lite Battery
Of the three new Oppo devices, the Find X3 Lite has the smallest battery, with a 4,300mAh capacity. It supports 65W fast charging that is advertised to rise from 0 to 100% in 35 minutes.
