Samsung’s Galaxy A Event was held on March 17th 2022. With the Galaxy A series, the A is still for awesome and Samsung says that Awesome is for everyone.
The A series are entry and mid range Samsung smartphones, although they don’t to have all the features that Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S series phones have they are still well, awesome phones.
The Galaxy A series has always made Samsung’s core technology available to everyone and Samsung says the 2022 Series A has been launched to help users connect around the world and take creative strides. The 2022 Galaxy A series has 5G on most models, awesome screens, awesome cameras.
They also have an awesome battery life and capacity as well as IP67 water resistance which will really help when you are out and about and exploring the world.
The Galaxy A Series for this year, 2022, includes the following models: Galaxy A13, Galaxy A23, Galaxy A33 5G, Galaxy A53 5G and the A73 5G. Samsung states that there is more to come so it looks like there may be further models added to this year’s A series.
The Galaxy A13, A23 and A53 5G are available from April 1 2022, and the Galaxy A33 5G and A73 5G will be available on April 22, according to Samsung.
Samsung has said that Samsung Wallet will be supported on both the Galaxy A53 5G and A33 5G models and that the availability and timing of this functionality may vary depending on market.
As with other Samsung handsets the A Series will be well supported by Samsung with updates, with The Galaxy A53 5G receiving up to four generations of One UI and Android OS upgrades and up to five years of security updates and the Galaxy A33 5G will receive up to three generations of One UI and Android OS upgrades and up to four years of security updates.
Samsung introduced the Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A33 5G at the A series live event. The new Galaxy A series features 5G connectivity, high-quality security, an eco-conscious, stylish, and slim design, and fantastic connected experiences, thanks to a brand-new processor, Galaxy’s trademark AI camera, spacious and fluid display, and two-day battery life.
Furthermore, both smartphones enable ongoing One UI and Android OS upgrades as well as security updates, ensuring that the customer’s user experience is always awesome.
Samsung stated that with the latest Galaxy A series devices, they are making it easier than ever to enjoy Galaxy’s, innovative mobile experience at a great value.
In an effort to reduce packaging size and assist in making the planet healthier removes the charger plug to reduce the size of the packaging while the packaging itself also uses sustainably sourced paper. The handsets make use of recycled post consumer materials (PCM) for the side buttons and the SIM card trays.

The Galaxy A73 5G is a 5G device that has an Octa-Core processor with speeds of 2.4GHz, 1.8GHz. There is RAM: 6 with 128GB of storage or 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage options. Both memory options have the option to utilise a microSD for up to 1TB of storage.
The Galaxy A73 is set to be available in Australia on April 22nd but, for people seeking a larger handset with an awesome camera lineup this device will be worthy of consideration.
