HTC Desire
The Android 2.2 update for Telstra’s HTC Desire handsets is now available. This is an over the air, OTA, update will upgrade your Desire’s firmware to the latest version of Android, Froyo, and also includes some HTC-developed enhancements.
Originally the update was available from HTC’s website but currently the update is available as an OTA update to make updating more convenient. It is recommended to perform the update whilst connected to a WiFi network.
To get the update follow the instructions below.
Go to Settings -> About -> System Software Updates -> Check now
Once the update has been completed you will see the below message.
Congratulations your phone has been successfully updated to version 2.26.841.2
