Telstra Explorer 165+
The Telstra Explorer 165+ is Telstra’s new King of coverage, in fact it’s described as having ‘unparalleled coverage performance’. This handset is the third in the Telstra/ZTE 165 family, the F165 and F165i being the previous kings of coverage before the Telstra Explorer 165+.
The Telstra Explorer 165+ is made by ZTE and retains the candy bar design and still features an extendable antenna. Appearance wise the 165+ is a better looking mobile phone than the 165 and the 165i with its silver front. Telstra has obviously awarded this handset with Telstra’s BlueTick rating meaning the 165+ is the handset that is recommended for maximizing rural handheld coverage.
The Explorer 165+ retains the ability to be connected to an external antenna to improve your mobile phone coverage even further.
The Telstra Explorer has nice big keys and a large screen dialing display for easy reading. The handset is easy to use especially if your previous mobiles have been a F165 or 165i.
The 165+ also features an FM radio and a TFT LCD screen display that is more easily read in bight sunlight, a 3 megapixel camera, assisted GPS, Bluetooth 2.0 and has a micro SD memory card slot that will accept a micro SD memory card up 8GB in storage capacity, which should provide enough storage for photos and music.
The FM radio has an inbuilt antenna, which means that it is not necessary to attach the corded personal hands free headphones to make the FM radio function.
The Explorer 165+ enjoys a 24 month manufacturers warranty. The Telstra Explorer comes with USB cable for connecting to your computer and is Windows 7, Vista and XP compatible PC Suite and is also MAC compatible by using the included software, OS Suite.

Just want to know why my new Telstra Explorer has ceased storing a log of numbers for phone calls made and phone calls received.
Also would like to know why it only rings three times and I cant find an option to change it to ring more often.
Finally, the speaker phone is very weak, can hardly hear anything, is there a way of changing this beyond increasing the volume?

May someone tell me which is a more effective cellular phone? Apple or maybe Symbian OS?
