iPad 2 Released in Australia

  Thinner. Lighter. Faster. FaceTime. 10-hour battery.

The iPad 2 has been released in Australia and it is now thinner, faster and comes with two cameras. Now Apple offer the iPad in two colours white and black.

The iPad 2 is close to 15 percent lighter and 33 percent thinner. The face of the iPad 2 is covered scratch resistant glass of the same type as the original iPad and has a front facing camera for FaceTime, Apple’s video calling over WiFi. The iPad 2 will record HD video and has processing power in the form of a dual-core A5 chip.

The iPad 2’s dual core A5 processor has two powerful cores in one A5 chip. This allows the iPad2 to do twice the work. Multitasking is smoother and apps load faster. The difference in speed will be apparent when you watch movies, surf the internet, get onto some gaming.

The iPad 2 is available as WiFi in 16GB, 32GB or 64GB versions and is also available in WiFi and 3G in the same 16, 32 and 64GB versions. Colours available are black or white.
