Email Setup Guide For Nokia E71

Follow the below steps to quickly setup email on your Nokia E71. Don’t forget to check out our range of Nokia accessories and car kits

Yahoo! Setup

To use your Yahoo! account, you firstly need to enable POP3 on your online Yahoo! Mail account.

1. Log into your Yahoo! Mail account from your PC and select on ‘Options’
2. Go to ‘POP Access and Forwarding‘ and check ‘Web & POP Access’. Then click ‘Save’
3. On your E71 select ‘Set up Email’ wizard from the Home Screen.
4. Type in your Yahoo! Mail address and password.
5. Choose the Internet access point.

The email wizard will create a new email mailbox for you in the ‘Messaging’ folder. Your Yahoo! email account is now setup and ready to go.

Gmail Setup

If you have a Gmail account you can use the email set-up wizard to set up your email.

1. Select ‘Set up Email’ wizard from the Home Screen.
2. Type your Gmail address and password.
3. Choose the Internet access point.

The email wizard will create a new email mailbox for you in the ‘Messaging’ folder. Your Gmail account is now setup on your Nokia E71 and ready to go. You are now ready to email.

Windows Live Setup

You can access your Windows Live Hotmail and use Windows Live Messenger to chat with your friends.

This application is in the Installations folder from the main menu on your Nokia E71.

Type your Windows Live Hotmail email username & password, then choose the Internet access point.

You are now able to email and instant message.

Got a different type of email account?

You can also access your home or personal email accounts such as iiNet, BigPond or OptusNet email accounts on your Nokia using the Setup email wizard.

1. Select the ‘Set up Email’ wizard from the Home Screen of your Nokia E71

2. Type in your email address & password. Then choose the Internet access point.

Your email is now setup on your Nokia and ready to go.

Mail for Microsoft Exchange (Activesync)

If your company uses Microsoft Exchange and it has been set up to allow mobile access then you will be able to access your Microsoft Exchange Email account by using the Nokia Mail for Exchange Client that comes preloaded on your E71.
