There is a DIY cradle kit that is powered from your vehicle's cigarette or accessory socket and is a DIY install product. There is no need to contact a professional installer upon installation. The other kit is a version that is wired directly into your vehicle's electrical system and requires professional installation. A professional installer will attach the cradle to the swivel mount provided and connect the power pack to your car's electronics.

iPhone 8 Release Date
The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus had a release date of 22nd September 2017. The additions to the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus included a glass back, wireless charging, an upgrade of the processor, camera, and display. With the exterior design, the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus was reminiscent of the previous iPhone 7.
Features
According to Apple, the Apple A11 Bionic system-on-chip has a lot more power than its predecessor. The A11 chip is 25% faster, with its cores an astounding 70% faster. Regarding the GPU, this is now 30% faster. Battery life has been given an improvement due to the upgrade in CPU and GPU.
The new glass back design on the iPhone 8 models means that Qi Wireless charging is available. Water resistance has a rating of IP67. True Tone Technology updates the display to be able to change depending on the lighting in the surrounding area. True Tone allows for HDR10 and Dolby Vision video content to play at quality without an HDR-ready display.
For photographers, improvements are there with the camera. The camera is like the iPhone 7's camera, but the iPhone 8 version comes with improved depth of field and lighting effects. Shots that are in low light have improved clarity and colours.
Specs
Regarding specs, the iPhone 8 came with a 2.39 GHz hexa-core 64-bit processor with a system on chip being the Apple A11 Bionic. For the iPhone 8, there is 2 GB of RAM, and the battery is 1821 mAh Li-ion. The screen is a 4.7-inch Retina HD with LED-led backlit IPS LCD with 1920x1080 pixels. With the rear camera, this has a 12 MP with six-element lens, 'True Tone' quad LED flash with slow sync. Aperture is f/1.8, and camera features include time-lapse with stabilisation, facial recognition, digital image stabilisation, optical image stabilisation, and panorama. The front camera has a 7 MP with f/2.2 aperture. This front camera includes burst mode, exposure control, face detection, auto-HDR, auto-image stabilisation and Retina flash. The dimensions of the iPhone 8 are 138.4x67.3x7.3mm and weighs 148g.
The device comes with the option of 64 GB or 256 GB with no external memory option. 3D Touch is on the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, along with exchange-strengthened glass.

The iPhone 8 comes in silver, gold or Space Grey colours. External memory options are a 64 GB or 256 GB configuration.

In the box, you receive the standard accessories - Lightning to USB cable and 5W USB power adapter, ear pods with lighting adapter (View our iPhone 8 chargers.) and Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter.
There is a range of accessories that you should consider for your iPhone 8 or 8 Plus. First off, get yourself a case for protection. For an expensive device, it is essential you keep it safe. Whether you decide to go for a simple case or a big, beefy case is up to you. A screen protector, a small sheet of plastic that sticks on to the front display is a good idea for protection as well.
For easy charging, get a Qi Wireless Charger. A powerbank that's a decent size is great if you are out a lot. Remember, the more significant the number, the more power the powerbank holds. If you get a powerbank with high enough power, you can charge higher capacity devices on top of your iPhone 8 or 8 Plus. Speaking of power, get yourself a spare Lightning to USB cable to keep as an extra or at work. A car charger and car cradle will help you to keep power and use your phone via Bluetooth (And voice commands) when you are on the move. If your car does not have Bluetooth, you can purchase a Bluetooth kit for your vehicle as well. Alternatively, a simple Bluetooth headset. Speakers are a welcome addition for those who will be listening to music using their iPhone 8 or 8 Plus. Maybe cordless headphones are something to get, especially if the cords get in the way.
