Using the External Antenna Ports on Your Nighthawk M6 Pro
Your Nighthawk M6 Pro modem features two external TS9 antenna connectors, designed to improve your device's coverage and data rates when connected to the mobile network. It's essential to note that these antennas specifically enhance your network connection and do not affect your device's Wi-Fi performance.
When installing an external antenna, please follow these guidelines:
- If you have a single antenna, insert it into port 1, which serves as the main antenna.
- If you have a MIMO dual-antenna setup, use both ports 1 and 2 for optimal network coverage.
When handling the antenna leads, be gentle and cautious. The connectors are small and delicate, so avoid rough treatment, harsh pulling, or bending, as this can cause damage.
