The Acer iconia Tab A510 is a new addition to Acer's Iconia tablet range. This WiFi only device weighs in at 680 grams, which makes the A510 approximately 10 per cent lighter than the original Iconia Tab. The device uses a Nvidia Tegra 3 CPU.

The device measures 175 x 10 x 259 mm and weighs 680 grams. There is also a 5 megapixel camera that will record video as well as still pictures.

The Iconia Tab has a 10.1 inch LCD touch screen that has a 1280 x 800 resolution. The touchscreen is responsive and has strong colour definition.

The A510 also supports HDMI video out using a micro-HDMI connection, and has expandable via a microSD card. The unit also has Bluetooth, WiFi, USB and GPS for connectivity and the battery has a capacity of 9800mAh. The A510 has a dimpled texture that makes the tablet comfortable hold. The A510 uses the version 4 of Android operating system aka Ice Cream Sandwich.
